Free Viking Rune Reading
This system for divining the future through Viking runes is one of the best-known oracles and the oldest in all of Europe. It was used by Germanic peoples, Celts, and Vikings alike. It also served as a writing system and survived in northern Europe well into the 13th century.

The ancient runic alphabet — called the Futhark, after the sound of its first six symbols — is made up of 24 runes. Each one has its own name and divinatory meaning:
